Senior Marine Electronics Engineer / Software Engineer (Cybersecurity) SME at Pantheon Data. Protect and design shipboard electronic systems; mentor engineers.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of cybersecurity requirements for marine and shipboard systems.
Provide guidance for cybersecurity verification and validation within Electronics Engineering.
Support development and refinement of specifications for acquisition contracts to meet DoD and mission cybersecurity requirements.
Review design reviews from junior engineers and advise on design decisions and risk-based considerations.
Mentor junior engineers in shipboard cybersecurity design principles.
Required Skills And Experience
Bachelor's Degree
15+ years in Electronics Engineering with leadership experience
At least 10 years in cybersecurity with DoD RMF experience for shipboard systems
Experience with cybersecurity implementation, specifications for contracts, and risk-informed design decisions
Experience leading design reviews, verification and validation for critical, mission-aligned outcomes
Collaborative leader with mentoring skills
Ability to work remotely in cross-functional teams
Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality work
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Education BS or MS in a Technical, Engineering, or Marine field
Clearance Requirements U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Work Location Hybrid - three (2) days a week at USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.)
Compensation The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000. Salary will be set based on experience, location, and contractual requirements and could fall outside this range.
