Overview Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a

Splunk Architect and Administrator

with a

Top-Secret security clearance

to support

TGS

and our government customer. This position will be in

Washington, DC

or

Chantilly, VA .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage Splunk architecture, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Splunk Enterprise instances across various environments.

Develop and customize Splunk apps and dashboards to meet specific organizational needs, integrating data feeds and creating visualizations for actionable insights.

Ensure scalability and performance of Splunk infrastructure, optimizing for high availability and reliability.

Manage and troubleshoot Splunk environments, including license management, indexers, search heads, and data ingestion.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize Splunk tools and features.

Stay up to date with the latest Splunk development and best practices and implement them as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Splunk Architect or Administrator, with a strong understanding of Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud platforms.

Expertise in designing and deploying scalable Splunk solutions, including indexer and search head clustering.

Strong knowledge of Splunk Deployment Methodology and best practices for data collection and sizing distributed deployments.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for managing Splunk environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin) are a plus.

Education, Experience & Skills

Have a bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience as a substitute

6 years experience

2 years of minimum experience

Top Secret Security clearance
