With its Sigrity platform, Cadence is the leader in providing software for IC package physical design and for analyzing power integrity, signal integrity and design stage electromagnetic interference. The Sigrity R&D team is looking for a talented software engineer who is ready to make a significant impact to the success of the Sigrity product line and to Cadence as a whole. Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of field solver software, with emphasis on computational electromagnetics and numerical analysis. Collaborate with the Sigrity R&D team to enhance solver performance and accuracy for complex, next-generation designs. Engage in debugging and analytical activities to resolve complex software issues. Explore artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to enhance the speed and capacity of the field solver. Qualifications
MS/PhD in EE, CS, math, or related degree Strong background in computational electromagnetics, circuit theory, and C++ Experience developing and maintaining field solver software Experience developing software, preferably in the EDA domain Knowledge of SI, PI, EMI and EMC Strong debugging and analytical skills to resolve complex software issues Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and able to work collaboratively Salary and Benefits
The annual salary range for California is $114,800 to $213,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Salaries vary based on qualifications, skills, and location. Benefits include paid vacation and holidays, 401(k) with employer match, employee stock purchase plan, and medical/dental/vision options, among others.
