This position is based in the Washington D.C., Boston, or New York area. You will start as fully remote and move to a hybrid in-office schedule once a location is determined, with 2-3 days in the office and the rest remote. Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for the LILT platform, focusing on API, UI, and performance testing. Collaborate with development and QA teams; work with developers and manual testers to understand requirements and identify areas for automation. Execute automated tests, analyze results, and generate reports. Triage and resolve automated test failures. Perform manual testing of new features and functionality, including exploratory and regression testing. Document and maintain a database of known test cases for all features. Contribute to and help lead the software release process. Communicate test results clearly to relevant teams. Skills and Experience
Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Ability to create effective test plans and test cases. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with Playwright, Cypress, and JEST. Experience with various automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress and/or JEST). Experience with Git and GitHub. Proficiency with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools. Understanding of API testing concepts and tools like Postman. Experience with load or performance testing (e.g., Grafana, K6). Basic understanding of RDBMS and SQL. Clear and concise communication for collaboration with developers, product managers, and stakeholders. Benefits
