508 compliances . This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, form technologies, and integration with legacy and modern platforms. Responsibilities include architectural strategy, design, and ongoing modernization efforts. Teleworking permitted: Yes. Estimated salary: USD $135,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $145,000.00/Yr. Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑level solutions for electronic forms, document workflows, and AEM environments. Define system architecture for workflow automation tools, databases, and APIs that integrate with existing agency reporting systems. Develop technical roadmaps and modernization strategies for legacy form systems transitioning into cloud/on‑prem hybrid models. Conduct gap analyses and define technical specifications, including security, scalability, and accessibility requirements. Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Support Serve as the technical lead for AEM form solutions—designing templates, components, workflows, and forms using AEM Forms and associated tools. Guide the migration of legacy applications and assets from Adobe Managed Services (AMS) to on‑premises AEM. Establish and enforce AEM development best practices, including CI/CD, version control, and modular development. Forms and 508 Compliance Oversee the development of dynamic, interactive, and accessible forms that meet Section 508 compliance and WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Collaborate with UX, accessibility testers, and form designers to ensure usability and inclusivity. Validate form accessibility using industry‑standard tools and processes. Technology Innovation and Integration Design and lead the development of a workflow automation tool that tracks intake, approval, and change management processes. Architect secure and scalable databases to support form data, workflow metadata, and reporting requirements. Integrate new tools with existing government reporting tools using RESTful APIs, ETL pipelines, and federated data models. Evaluate emerging technologies to improve form delivery, automation, and applicant data capture. Technical Documentation & Standards Create and maintain architecture artifacts, system designs, data flow diagrams, interface control documents (ICDs), and technical SOPs. Ensure all documentation aligns with federal standards including NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP (if applicable). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 7+ years of experience in enterprise technical architecture with at least 3 years in AEM Forms. Demonstrated experience with forms technologies (AEM, LiveCycle, XDP, XML) and modern workflow automation tools. Proven ability to architect 508‑compliant solutions for federal or enterprise environments. Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL), REST APIs, and system integrations. Experience working in Agile/Scrum or hybrid project environments. Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with federal clients and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications
Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM Forms or Architect track Experience with Section 508 accessibility testing and remediation Familiarity with DevSecOps, Git, Jenkins, and cloud‑native environments (AWS, Azure) Prior experience supporting immigration or high‑volume form processing programs PMP, TOGAF, or Agile certifications a plus Additional Details
