Williams & Connolly LLP, recognized as one of the world's premier litigation firms, is seeking a Conference Center Manager to ensure that all meetings, events, and guest interactions are executed seamlessly. The role emphasizes service excellence, operational efficiency, and professionalism. Under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the conference center, reception, and housekeeping teams; Supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate 8 staff members and serve as a back-up during absences; Proactively review the daily schedule of meetings and events; Coordinate with attorneys, staff, external clients, and vendors to plan and execute in-house meetings and events. Some events are scheduled after normal business hours and require attendance; Oversee scheduling, setup, and execution of meetings and special events, ensuring adequate staffing and stock of conference center amenities; Act as the firm liaison to work with Seasons Catering for all internal meetings and events; Conduct a daily review of the posted online lunch menu; Receive and resolve inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, discretion, and efficiency; Maintain an overall understanding of conference room needs and collaborate with departments such as catering, facilities and information technology, including handling the repair of conference center and pantry equipment; Prepare and oversee the conference center budget; and Review, approve, and process invoices related to the conference center. Requirements

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred and a minimum of 5 years' experience in event management, hospitality, or professional services; Three years of management/supervisory experience required; Budgeting experience preferred; Experience with Rendezvous or other meeting scheduling software; Customer service focused with the ability to anticipate needs; Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment; Attention to detail; and Working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Work environment and schedule

Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires the following: Prolonged periods using a sit-to-stand desk and working on a computer; Repetitive movements, including typing on a keyboard and using a mouse; Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs; Regular walkthrough of conference center, dining spaces, and additional event spaces to coordinate event logistics and address any arising issues; Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation. Compensation

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000. This is an exempt position. The hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Candidates must have the ability to work additional hours as needed. The final offer amount is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, education, and other relevant skills and qualifications.
