Senior Supply Chain Manager, SWA Capacity Planning – Amazon. The Planning Supply Chain Manager works across the organization in a cross-functional environment with Operations, Product, and Tech teams to define the needs, goals, and execution plans to create a world-class transportation network. They maintain and report up-to-date statistics, management reports, and analysis. They facilitate the flow of information between stakeholders and resolve issues that impact customer experience and business continuity. An ideal candidate should be able to understand requirements, analyze data to notice trends, and drive Customer Experience without compromising on time. In this position, you will own strategic Amazon Shipping growth and business relationships to optimize cost and improve profitability. This role requires working with partner teams across transport, engineering, launch, finance, and operational planning, and with business teams such as Revenue Management, Business Development, and Commercial. This is a high-visibility role with regular interaction with leadership and critical decision making. It develops and implements scalable solutions to support new reverse logistics volume streams and integrate these streams into Last/Middle Mile planning. Key responsibilities

Work with partner teams across supply chain functions (transportation, engineering, launch, finance, operational planning) (on-roof and on-road) Leverage historical data to create forward-looking planning models in partnership with business teams Utilize problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenges Provide forecast and coordinate with downstream & upstream stakeholders (e.g., Amazon Logistics and North America Sort Center) to plan for capacity Collaborate with AMZL and NASC to drive capacity decisions such as hiring, vehicle procurement and onboarding Delivery Service Partners Improve demand forecast and route planning accuracy Drive commingling opportunities to improve shipments per route and overall cost per unit Integrate reverse-logistics demand with existing Amazon Shipping Operations demand Present data-driven proposals and plans to senior leadership Travel 5% each quarter as required (quarterly offsites) Basic Qualifications

5+ years of program or project management experience 5+ years of supply chain experience Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Bachelor's degree Demand Planning, Logistics, and Capacity Planning experience Preferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
