Overview Prisma Health – Division Chief, Urology Columbia, SC

Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Carolina, seeks an experienced and dynamic Urologist to serve as Division Chief within the Department of Surgery. The position offers the opportunity to innovate and to expand adult and pediatric urologic services throughout the Midlands region.

Responsibilities The Division Chief will report directly to the Chair of the Department of Surgery and be responsible for the continued growth of clinical and academic potential of the division. The division has state-of-the-art facilities, including the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System and Artemis MRI Fusion Technology, as well as an experienced office and Advanced Practice Provider staff who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to this population. The Division Chief will obtain an academic appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and will have the opportunity to work closely with rotating students. The successful candidate is committed to clinical excellence and interest in expansion of the division and associated multidisciplinary partnerships. Strong communication skills and a track record of successful team leadership are required.

Requirements

American Board of Urology certified

5+ years of clinical experience

Prior administrative leadership experience
