Assists the Program Director with the management of the day-to-day operations in accordance with CHL standards, policies and procedures. Ability to supervise program staff in a culturally competent manner and to ensure staff maintain required competencies. Oversight of milieu including behavioral treatment planning for mental health and substance abuse. Effective communication with consumers, peers and other professionals that is sensitive to the racial/ethnic/cultural/class backgrounds. Operates assigned program in an efficient and quality manner, ensuring compliance with DPH regulatory requirements. The
Family Support and Stabilization
team at Community Healthlink-UMass provides strength-based services to families, children, and youth under 21 years old who have significant behavioral health needs, and are identified by the Department of Children and Families. Services include clinical, family and youth support as well as parenting classes. Job Description I. Major Responsibilities
Ensures all clinical services are in compliance with agency policies and procedures. Manages the staff. Responsible for interviewing and hiring new staff and completing all required documentation. Ensures all new staff complete program orientation and training as required by CHL and applicable CARF grant requirements. Sets staffing patterns, approves staff time, attendance and leave time. Responsible for ongoing employee performance review and annual performance evaluation of staff. Provides and documents clinical supervision to assigned clinical staff and Crisis Support in accordance with CHL and CARF requirements. Responsible for specialty service or grant operations and oversight assigned by site/location as well as services offered. Qualifications Master's Degree (or above) in counseling, psychology, social work or related human services field Independently licensed LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or license-eligible, licensed Psychologist Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered and insured automobile for work-related purposes required Must be able to pass a CORI background check All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
