$147,760-$187,200 (DOE) About The Role As Breckenridge Grand Vacations’ (BGV) Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you’ll be at the heart of our financial strategy, driving data-driven decisions that fuel our growth while embodying our Sharing Smiles philosophy. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis to support our expanding Resort Operations, Development projects, and company-wide initiatives from the Rockies. Key Responsibilities
Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic decision-making. Analyze financial performance, KPIs, and variances, providing actionable insights. Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations. Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess business risks and opportunities. Collaborate with department heads to align financial plans with company objectives. Support capital allocation, investment analysis, and ROI evaluations. Assist in pricing strategies, cost optimization, and profitability analysis. Monitor industry trends and economic factors impacting financial performance. Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting and forecasting. Mentor and manage the FP&A team, ensuring high performance and development. Partner with Accounting and Tax teams to ensure compliance and accuracy. Implement best practices in financial planning, data analytics, and reporting. Present financial insights to senior leadership and non-financial stakeholders. Support M&A due diligence, contract negotiations, and business planning. Serve as a key advisor to the CFO on financial strategy and performance. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing an FP&A or finance team. Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, scenario modeling). Hands-on experience with FP&A software (e.g., Adaptive, Hyperion, Anaplan) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and trends. Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Track record of driving process improvements and automation. Strategic mindset with a focus on business partnership and decision support. Preferred Qualifications
MBA, Master’s in Finance, or CPA/CMA certification. Background in real estate, hospitality, or development. Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data visualization. Knowledge of SQL, VBA, or Python for data analysis. Experience with M&A due diligence or corporate development. Prior experience in a high-growth or publicly traded company. Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS and tax implications in financial planning. Track record of influencing C-suite executives and board-level decisions. Compensation & Benefits
