Location: Lebanon, TN The Senior Portfolio Manager supports commercial lenders by evaluating loan requests, engaging with customers, and facilitating efficient documentation processes. This position performs duties such as monitoring construction draws, clearing exceptions, preparing and organizing production reports by lender, and gathering financial documentation from customers and internal teams. The Senior Portfolio Manager organizes and maintains loan files, verifying documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements and bank policies. This position reports to the Chief Credit Officer and provides excellent service and support to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company’s values and supporting the mission. Job Duties And Responsibilities

Support commercial lenders by evaluating loan requests, engaging with customers, facilitating efficient documentation processes, etc. Responsible for monitoring construction draws, clearing exceptions, preparing and organizing production reports by lender, and gathering financial documentation from customers and internal teams Schedule and coordinate meetings with customers and lenders. Attend business events with lenders as needed. Serve as point of contact for new and existing customers Prepare loan proposals and credit memos for review by lenders Assist in the preparation and processing of loan applications and documentation Conduct preliminary credit analysis and review customer financial statements Research loan requests for proper approval and compliance with regulatory guidelines Communicate with external vendors and internal departments to initiate orders for third party services Review compliance with loan underwriting criteria to include approval limits, LTV, lien position, insurance requirements, etc. Calculate fees required for specific types of loans Review title opinion or title commitment, appraisal report, and other information to proactively identify any concerns prior to closing Collaborate with lender, vendors, internal teams, and management to resolve any concerns prior to finalizing loan documentation for closings Communicate with lenders and third-party vendors such as appraisers and attorneys to address questions or concerns and provide complete closing package to attorney and/or lender Monitor loan status and follow up on outstanding documentation Organize and maintain loan files, verifying documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements and bank policies Facilitate the opening of new deposit accounts and servicing of existing accounts while maintaining relationships for consumer and business deposit account customers Assist commercial lenders with collection efforts to keep past-due accounts at acceptable levels Attend office and bank meetings as scheduled providing input and updates on commercial lending activities as required Utilize sales and service strategies to retain existing relationships and enable growth of new relationships. Actively participates in follow-up strategies. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional associations Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program Attend training as requested Participate in outside community activities as required Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED 3 years of experience in portfolio management, commercial lending, credit analysis, or a related field Previous experience in treasury management and account opening preferred Knowledge of real estate lending, documentation, collateralization, UCC-1 Law, lien perfection, and deeds of trust Strong knowledge of financial principles, loan underwriting, lending regulations, credit analysis, and contracts with individual or corporate borrowers Understanding of the loan-funding process and use of general ledger accounts for funding Experience with Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel, Power BI and report development Subject matter expertise in relevant software and systems for financial analysis and documentation Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while accomplishing daily tasks Effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills Effective presentation skills Attention to detail, critical thinker and problem-solving skills High standards for integrity, honesty, professionalism, and work ethic Commitment to service excellence Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent organization and follow through Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload Ability and willingness to work with purpose and a strong sense of urgency Self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic Self-starter with a strong desire to exceed expectations and capable of supporting a team Maintain confidentiality discretion Ability to effectively work in collaboration with others to achieve business objectives Must be able to work extended hours as needed Willing to grow and be challenged Seniority level
