Senior Product Safety Consultant Client:

Leading Global Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) Solutions Provider About the Role

As a Senior Product Safety Consultant, you will manage complex Product Safety & Certification projects across multiple product categories. You will interface with customers and Certification Bodies, define project scope and test plans, perform evaluations on electrical/electronic/electromechanical equipment, and provide engineering recommendations to bring products into compliance with North American and global standards. Some travel and on-site client testing may be required. Responsibilities

Manage complex Product Safety & Certification projects across multiple product categories. Interface with customers and Certification Bodies; define project scope and test plans. Perform evaluations on electrical/electronic/electromechanical equipment. Provide engineering recommendations to bring products into compliance with North American and global standards. Travel and on-site client testing may be required. Qualifications

5+ years of experience in global Product Safety & Certifications with UL, Intertek, CSA, CE, CB, CCC, or equivalent. Strong technical expertise across multiple product categories, including practical application of conformity assessment standards. Expertise in safety standards (e.g. IEC 60601, 62368, 61010, 60335) across sectors including medical, laboratory, ITE, household, HVAC and machinery. Comfortable working independently and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading technical projects. Demonstrated Project Management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Physics, or equivalent experience from an ABET-accredited program.
