$99,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr What You Will Do
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for: All aspects of multi-discipline projects and clients from the proposal process to project closeout. Plan, direct, and coordinate activities including client meetings, public hearings, and public involvement events so that projects move forward within the prescribed time frames and budgets. Anticipate client needs, biases, and preferences and tailor communication and work output accordingly. Lead, coordinate and delegate work to multiple work teams working in multiple locations. Work directly with municipal client staff to deliver CIP programs and/or projects, potentially on-site in a staff augmentation setting. Formulate, track and meet program and project budgets and schedules. Maintain open and effective communication with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders. Prepare or coordinate preparation of project/client correspondence and documentation. Participate in and lead business development activities to new and existing clients through planning, leading, and participating in client meetings and networking events. Develop new client contacts and relationships in all areas of expertise. Understand alternative funding sources for municipal projects, and ability to secure funding. As you advance in your career, you may also act as an extension of client City engineering or public works staff in a managerial role and as a Client Manager, responsible for delivery of services across several WSB disciplines to the client. What You Will Bring
The successful candidate must have: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school Registration as a professional engineer in Colorado (or the ability to obtain registration within six months) 5+ years municipal experience; direct experience working for a municipality is a plus Experience in managing municipal CIP programs and projects, clients and staff in this market is preferred A history of delivering projects with positive customer service experiences A positive attitude and willingness to learn The ability and desire to develop an understanding of, or even anticipate, the client’s needs is a plus Who We Are
