Overview
Gala & Associates, Inc., a full service consulting Architectural and Engineering firm located in Beverly Hills, MI, is seeking a Sr. level Mechanical Engineer to work with our staff on our Automotive and Heavy Industrial projects. Responsibilities
Lead our Mechanical department and provide technical design support to the design team Prepare schematic designs, construction documents and specifications in compliance with owners requirements and ensure governmental code compliance Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, conduct field / site surveys and observations Collaborate and coordinate design with engineers, architects, designers, owner, product manufacturers, vendors and building contractors as required Responsible for insuring accuracy and content of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines Experience Required
Project management HVAC systems Facility engineering Chilled water system Hot water system Energy utilization Fire protection Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Masters Minimum 10 years relevant work experience Licensed PE LEED certified Knowledge of industry technical software - Revit a plus Strong leadership skills - ability to motivate and direct team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Gala & Associates is an equal opportunity employer.
