Senior Audit Manager
to join its Internal Audit team. Senior Audit Manager – Internal Audit Office Status:
Hybrid – 4x per week in office Base Salary:
$160,000 + Bonus Base pay range:
$160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute audits focused on treasury operations, including asset-liability management, liquidity, capital planning, funding, and investment management. Develop risk-based audit programs with clearly defined test steps and inherent risk identification. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and contribute to the annual Audit Plan. Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes, assessing their impact on internal controls and the bank’s operations. Prepare clear, concise audit working papers and reports outlining control deficiencies and actionable recommendations. Oversee and mentor junior auditors, ensuring quality execution and budget adherence. Collaborate with treasury and risk management teams to evaluate and improve control frameworks. Monitor and document the resolution of audit findings in accordance with policy. Participate in committees or task forces aimed at policy development and operational enhancements. Travel internationally (Hong Kong and/or China) for annual audit assignments. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required; professional certifications such as CPA or CIA preferred. 5–7 years of direct internal audit or comparable advisory experience. Strong knowledge of treasury processes and applicable regulatory requirements. Proven track record in process improvement projects or audits within a publicly traded company or public accounting firm. Experience with large financial institutions preferred. Professional working proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a plus. Seniority level
