Are you passionate about protecting critical infrastructure and solving complex engineering challenges? Were looking for a Corrosion Engineer I to join our dynamic team and contribute to innovative projects across the country. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in corrosion engineering and cathodic protection whos ready to grow and make an impact. Youll be hands-on with a variety of corrosion engineering projects, helping to protect vital infrastructure like pipelines, storage tanks, and above-ground facilities. Youll gather and analyze field data, assess corrosion risks, and develop preliminary designs and reports to mitigate those risks. Youll also design cathodic protection systems and perform field surveys using techniques like CIS, ACVG, DCVG, and PCM. Your work will be guided by industry standards such as NACE and PHMSA regulations, and youll document your findings and apply technical procedures with precision. Youll interact directly with clients and vendors, often independently, and play a key role in ensuring quality control across your projects. This position involves travelup to 50% across the U.S. but it is typically in short mobilizations of 1-3 days. Youll be out in the field supporting tasks like data collection and system troubleshooting. Responsibilities

Handle corrosion engineering projects and perform field data collection and analysis. Assess corrosion risks and develop preliminary designs and reports to mitigate risks. Design cathodic protection systems and conduct field surveys using CIS, ACVG, DCVG, and PCM. Document findings, apply technical procedures, and ensure quality control across projects. Interact with clients and vendors, often working independently. Travel up to 50% across the U.S. with short mobilizations of 1-3 days. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering or physical science from an accredited university. 35 years of experience in corrosion engineering and cathodic protection. NACE CP-2 certification required. Must have a valid drivers license without restrictions. Preferred Qualifications

Benefits & Salary: This position pays between $80,000 to $100,000 annually and is an exempt position. Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are available. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
