Crowe is seeking a Loan Review Senior Consultant to perform credit risk consulting projects for a variety of clients in the financial services industry. Job Responsibilities
Provide loan review services and other consulting engagements with clients on credit related matters Prepare detailed financial analysis, including cash flow models and collateral evaluations to identify potential credit risks Evaluate whether commercial loan requests adhere to bank policies and procedures Analyze and conduct systematic loan reviews of business-related credits to ascertain adequacy of credit quality, loan documentation, credit administration, and compliance with established policies Work on credit projects under a manager; often autonomously on certain aspects Support many different types of financial institutions across geographies Lead segments of engagements to develop leadership abilities, including building client relationships and relationships with key executives Write and present clear, concise reports with meaningful recommendations to clients Qualifications
Educational and Professional Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years’ experience in financial institutions or regulatory supervisory institutions Graduate degree or Professional certification a plus (e.g., RMA CRC) Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Experience in leveraged lending, capital call, subscription loans, venture lending, or Asset-Based Lending (ABL) is highly preferred, though not mandatory Underwriting, lending, or regulatory experience; not a consumer finance background Experience with a variety of loan products and industries Working knowledge of SBA SOP is a plus Understanding of credit processes, such as loan origination and underwriting; credit policies; portfolio management; allowance for loan and lease losses; loan review and remediation Thorough knowledge of federal and state banking laws related to credit risk Prior experience with risk ratings, risk rating methodology, and allowance methodology would be a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills for clients and teams in various formats Experience supervising and reviewing others, with project management and multi-stream responsibility Self-starter who can prioritize tasks, be resourceful, and find solutions Passionate about learning, meeting goals, and helping a team succeed Willingness to travel Compensation
The wage range for this role reflects factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is
$74,100.00 - $147,800.00
