We are seeking a results-oriented

Sr. HR Consultant - Employee Relations with a strong Generalist background

to join our People & Culture Operations Team. This talented individual will support our various businesses, with a focus on complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations.

This role will be based out of our Lisle, Illinois headquarters.

Responsibilities

Conducting employee investigations and employee relations, as well as a variety of generalist duties

Document and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Maintain accurate and complete records of all ER cases

Maintain good/consistent communication with manager and employee on pending cases

Interpret and drive consistency of HR policies and practices

Work cross functionally with legal, compliance, HR Business Partners, COEs, etc. across the company to plan and implement various initiatives and processes

Work closely with site leaders to ensure that all policies and procedures are understood, communicated, and consistently administered with all employees

Lead change

Project management of key cross functional programs and priorities

Analyze data to drive critical business decisions

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

At least 8 years of human resources experience

At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

Master’s degree

At least 6 years of human resources experience

At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

At least 10 years of human resources experience

At least 1 year of lead experience

Additional Requirements

Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

Experience independently handling employee relations investigations and cases

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, possibly conflicting priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Excellent problem solving and timely decision-making experience

Excellent communication and documentation skills and follow-up

Ability to build relationships and act as a liaison when necessary

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business

Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus

Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
