Join Caris Life Sciences as a senior sales leader focusing on growth within assigned geographic areas through new account acquisition in Pathology and Hospital Laboratory Operations. The role involves identifying, prospecting, and closing new business, mentoring Account Managers and Molecular Oncology Specialists, and driving overall growth strategy for the territory. The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years in oncology diagnostic sales with strong knowledge of tumor profiling, oncology practices, pathology, and prospecting skills. Responsibilities
Sell oncology services and products such as Molecular Intelligence to Pathology and Laboratories. Provide business solutions to hospital and laboratory professionals. Analyze opportunities and develop strategic sales plans for the assigned territory. Provide project management as assigned and aligned with VP of Precision Medicine expectations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Discuss healthcare payer environment and its impact on physicians and ancillary providers. Support billing and reimbursement as it relates to patients, practices, and hospital customers. Understand information technology interfaces with physician office systems; demonstrate solutions (Portal, EMR connectivity, TC/PC) and advise on hardware/software to improve workflow. Advise the VP of Precision Medicine on client or market concerns. Provide regular visibility on industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights. Maintain core knowledge of competitive products, services, technology solutions, and reimbursement/billing issues. Provide post-sales service to accounts and pursue additional opportunities. Maintain open communication with key personnel in assigned accounts and escalate issues when needed. Maintain company assets (e.g., laptop, PDA) and complete administrative tasks (reports, business plans, expense reports, CRM). Demonstrate core knowledge of anatomical pathology, technology solutions, and competitive strategies. Meet all assigned targets and participate in meetings and trade shows as required. Support physicians with ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform and QC report quality/accuracy, including handling PHI as needed. Engage with on-site hospital billing to support proper hospital payment details. Perform other related duties as assigned by the VP of Precision Medicine. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Strong understanding of the client relationship with physicians and how to deliver service and technology solutions for pathology needs. Solid knowledge of oncology therapeutics, surgical oncology intervention, and molecular laboratory science. Working knowledge of oncology biomarkers and related drug response is advantageous. Strong knowledge of billing and reimbursement in the laboratory landscape. Deep relationships with and access to pathology and laboratory professionals. Strong knowledge of regional hospital systems. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general Internet use. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and appropriate insurance. Willingness to travel regularly, locally or on day trips, to meet clients and prospects; 50% of time in the field. Preferred Qualifications
MBA preferred. 5-7+ years of successful diagnostic sales experience (product and service). Past supervisory experience is a plus. Familiarity with local pathologists is an advantage. Conditions of Employment
