This position is located in our New York office and offers a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities

Organize documents for attorney review. Research public records using internal and public websites. Assist with preparing binders, closing books, copying, data entry, and file maintenance. Perform database research and data entry. Assist with corporate closings. Obtain documents and information from governmental/public agencies. Obtain information from accounting, timekeeping and attorneys for audit letter responses. Assist paralegals and attorneys with mailings and filings. Other duties as assigned. Desired Skills

Demonstrated basic proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and database experience. Office experience in a law firm environment supporting paralegals and/or attorneys is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with paralegals, attorneys and clients on a regular basis. Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills to manage large volumes of documents and binders. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines. Education and Experience

Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties. Produce deliverables, answer calls, and reply to correspondence in a timely, responsive manner. Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product. Meet deadlines and perform duties as required. Foster positive work relationships and comply with firm policies. Engage in both physical and sedentary activity related to the role (e.g., computer work, virtual conferences, meetings). Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands. Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned. Compensation and Benefits

The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $31.76 - $41.29 per hour, depending on geographic market location. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k).
