Overview
Job Title: Munitions Response and Recovered Chemical Warfare Materiel Operations Consultant Location: Open to any U.S. location. This is a full-time opportunity with Jacobs, focusing on Munitions Response and RCWM (Recovered Chemical Warfare Materiel) projects, including planning, compliance, investigation, and removal/remediation. Base pay range listed: $102,800.00/yr - $151,000.00/yr. Responsibilities
Lead and grow munitions response and RCWM opportunities, and manage projects through delivery. Apply technical and management experience to develop competitive strategies to win work in munitions response and RCWM. Support the business development team by developing technical approaches, strategies, and proposals; engage with key clients and mentor junior technical experts and project managers. Contribute to corporate-wide policies and procedures and implement them in sales and operations. Collaborate on execution strategies for Stand-alone Contracts and Task Orders, including proposal responses, technical approaches, pricing, and assignment of key personnel. Manage more complex munitions response and RCWM projects as required. Leverage state-of-the-art investigative techniques and remediation technologies, with a focus on strategic growth in the Munitions Response and RCWM market. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geology, or another related technical field. Experience in Munitions Response and RCWM investigation and remediation with emphasis on bidding and winning firm fixed price (FFP) projects, field operations, and project management. Advanced knowledge and experience in RCWM, including investigations/remedial actions, regulations and requirements, operations and safety, munitions-related hazards, detection/monitoring/remote sensing technologies, disposal and demilitarization technologies, decontamination procedures, and preparation/review of work plans and safety documentation. 5+ years’ experience bidding and managing munitions response and RCWM projects. Additional Desired Skills and Experience
Experience in bidding and delivering projects involving decontamination and demolition of facilities contaminated with explosives, CWM, and/or biological contaminants is a strong plus. Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience with USACE Military Munitions Design Centers and Districts. Experience with U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center Huntsville CWMDC or related CBRNE/RCWM organizations. Experience in cost estimating munitions response and RCWM projects. The base salary range is $102,800.00 to $151,000.00, determined by location and factors such as skills, experience, and education.
