Director, Paid Media - Integrated Communications Program Management – New York, New York, United States This role leads integrated PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned) campaigns and serves as the central hub of innovation for high-impact communications initiatives. The Catalyst Director partners with client Teams to translate strategic goals into action, delivering campaigns that drive business results and cultural conversation, exceed expectations, and win awards. Responsibilities
Strategic PESO Campaign Program Management: transform client goals into breakthrough integrated campaigns with clear wins, milestones, and impact metrics; collaborate with client Communications and Marketing teams to weave PESO into broader initiatives; present campaign strategies to executives to secure buy-in. Governance, Reporting and Optimization: establish standardized processes, measurement frameworks, governance protocols, and performance checkpoints; monitor performance through dashboards and KPI analysis; provide data-driven recommendations to optimize campaigns and resource allocation; create comprehensive ROI-focused performance reports. Client Leadership and Strategic Counsel: act as trusted strategic partner, shape decision-making, lead strategy sessions and presentations, and deliver innovative approaches that drive business results. Operational Excellence and Team Leadership: orchestrate cross-functional teams (strategists, creatives, digital specialists, media experts); provide direction, foster collaboration, and develop talent within the Catalyst practice. Brand Consistency and Integrated Execution: ensure PESO elements align with client brand standards and narratives; oversee quality control across paid, earned, owned, and social components. What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field 7+ years of relevant experience in strategic communications and integrated marketing Proven ability to manage fast-paced, multi-stakeholder projects with tight deadlines Strong understanding of PESO strategy and its role in reputation management and customer engagement Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex execution; proficiency with project management tools (Airtable, Smartsheet, Asana), Google Workspace, and executive presentation development Excellent client responsiveness and strong communication skills; experience presenting to senior leadership Experience with Fortune 500 clients or in corporate communications; familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms Professional certifications in project management (PMP) or digital marketing is a plus; crisis communications or reputation management experience is beneficial Core Competencies
