PRA Business Events
Based in Seattle; this role is able to work from home but candidates must also be able to attend client meetings, events, site inspections, etc. in person.

Overview
The Event Manager is a hybrid role supporting the Sales, Proposal Development and Event Production functions for a select segment of the business meeting specific criteria. While independent and self-reliant, the Event Manager will collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal PRA teams to develop and deliver events that exceed client expectations. The Event Manager is responsible for increasing overall sales volume by developing key relationships with new accounts and growing existing assigned accounts, while attaining PRA\'s profitability objectives. Primary Responsibilities
Sales Functions
Salesforce entry and maintenance including revenue, gross profit, and probability updates All aspects of client account management and communication Facilitate client discovery and lead qualifying calls Generate and maintain Proposal Request Form Plan and attend site visits as needed Proposal review with client Generate Program Services Agreement and all necessary addendums
Proposal Development Functions
Develop client proposal and edit as needed until finalization Supplier outreach for availability, pricing, etc. Generate and maintain Program Financials, including costing, client invoicing, etc.
Operations Function
Schedule planning visit as required All aspects of supplier/venue management including negotiations and contracting Develop on-site Staffing Plan Create Program Production Packet and distribute to staff as required Manage all aspects of Supplier Invoicing including generation and system input for processing Organize, schedule and attend Pre-Convention Meetings (Precons) Manage all aspects of onsite execution, including hotel communication Submit any outstanding supplier invoices for processing PPE survey sent to client
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree, or equivalent relevant experience, or a combination thereof 2 years of experience in overseeing the execution of corporate meetings, client events, and other complex programs with DMC, corporate incentive travel, hospitality, or related experience highly preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to analyze and interpret client proposal requirements, contracts, financial reports, and other legal documents Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supplier partners, and hoteliers Ability to multitask and work on multiple programs with different deadlines Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff, hoteliers and venue staff, clients and supplier/partner Working knowledge of attractions, hotels, parks, venues and supplier/partners in the local area and ability to locate and vet new venues and supplier/partners Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 base salary plus sales commissions.
