Vice President of Human Resources – Restaurant Group Location:

Relocation to Rocky Mount, NC Compensation:

Up to $180,000 base + bonus We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Human Resources to lead the HR function for a growing, multi-unit restaurant group. This executive role will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, driving HR initiatives that support organizational growth, operational excellence, and a strong employee culture across all restaurant locations. The VP of HR will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, retention, employee relations, compliance, training & development, compensation, benefits, and workforce planning. This individual will play a critical role in building scalable HR systems and programs while ensuring alignment with the company's mission, values, and long-term strategy. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on all HR and people-related matters. Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and growth initiatives. Drive organizational culture, employee engagement, and retention strategies to reduce turnover and strengthen workforce stability. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Lead recruitment strategies to attract top restaurant and corporate talent. Build talent pipelines for management and hourly roles across multiple locations. Partner with operations leaders to forecast staffing needs and implement effective workforce planning. Employee Relations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Create and oversee HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. Manage sensitive employee relations issues with discretion, consistency, and fairness. Training & Development: Design and implement leadership development programs for managers and high-potential employees. Champion ongoing training initiatives to improve skills, compliance, and operational excellence. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives throughout the organization. Compensation & Benefits: Oversee competitive compensation structures, incentive programs, and performance management systems. Partner with finance and operations to manage labor costs and optimize HR-related expenses. Evaluate and enhance employee benefits offerings to improve retention and satisfaction. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree or HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred. 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role. Experience in multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries strongly preferred. Proven ability to lead HR strategy in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Track record of driving initiatives that improve culture, retention, and organizational performance.
