Faculty Position in Cardiovascular Imaging
Brigham and Women’s Hospital | Harvard Medical School
The Department of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Radiologist for its Cardiovascular Imaging Division. Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School will be at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The Division of Cardiovascular Imaging offers a vibrant, high-volume academic practice that integrates clinical care, education, and research across all cardiovascular imaging modalities—including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, vascular CT/MRI, and nuclear cardiology. Our multidisciplinary team includes 14 faculty members and 8 cardiovascular/cardiothoracic imaging fellows annually.
The division performs over 20,000 cardiovascular imaging studies annually and supports advanced programs including CT-FFR, structural heart imaging, and multimodality heart teams (e.g., structural interventions, thoracic aorta, cardiac sarcoidosis, and vasculitis).
Responsibilities
Supervision, interpretation, and reporting of cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, vascular CT/MRI, and vascular ultrasound studies;
Collaborative patient care alongside Cardiology, Cardiac and Vascular Surgery, and other consulting services;
Teaching of residents, fellows, and Harvard Medical School students, with opportunities for CME instruction;
Clinical and translational research with access to advanced imaging technologies.
Qualifications Candidates must be board certified in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR) and have completed a cardiovascular imaging fellowship or possess equivalent experience. Strong academic and teaching interests are preferred.
