Senior Flight Control Verification Engineer (SJ2025MB) at Archer. Contribute to the verification and test of Archer’s eVTOL aircraft Flight Control System and its subsystems, such as inceptors, flight control computers, GNC algorithms, electric engines, batteries, and actuators. Run verification tests in hardware-in-the-loop test frameworks that include the flight control computer, the flight control system, batteries, and electric engines. Work directly with system architects and engineers to define test plans, verification procedures, and review test results. Continuously improve verification procedures, document test results, and manage the hardware and software configuration of the labs. Execute test campaigns and develop test reports and dashboards. Support the management and organization of lab equipment to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Support the development of data acquisition and data visualization tools. Automate test execution, develop test scripts, and contribute to improving the continuous integration and test environment. Write and maintain documentation for lab tools, instruments, and general guidelines for lab users. Support design work for Archer’s GNC systems. Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Master’s degree in Aircraft Systems Engineering, Unmanned and Autonomous Systems Engineering, Controls Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 3 years of experience as Flight Controls Engineer, or a related role with experience in eVTOL control systems, electric engines, electric actuators, flight controls computers, creating and executing test plans, and performing systems identification. ALTERNATE EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Systems Engineering, Unmanned and Autonomous Systems Engineering, Controls Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering. ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 4 years of experience as Flight Controls Engineer, or a related role with experience in eVTOL control systems, electric engines, electric actuators, flight controls computers, creating and executing test plans, and performing systems identification. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Must possess knowledge of MATLAB and MATLAB Simulink, CIFER, and BitBucket. Other Details
