$70.00/hr - $75.00/hr Job Description We are seeking a seasoned
SAP PS/PPM Functional Consultant
to join our enterprise SAP transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large-scale SAP implementations in the
Construction, Energy, or Utility industry , with deep expertise in
SAP Project Systems (PS)
and
Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) . Job Responsibilities: Deep understanding of end-to-end capital portfolio and project lifecycles—from portfolio management (buckets, items), project initiation, project cost estimate, project budget, project execution (cost, schedule, risk), project WBS settlement, and asset capitalization Configure SAP PPM modules such as Project Management, Portfolio Management, and Financial Planning Customize relevant capital projects PPM / PS RICEFW objects (reports, interface, conversion, enhancement, forms, workflows), approval processes, and reporting structures Integrate SAP PPM with other SAP modules like PS, FI/CO, HR, and S/4HANA Integrate PPM and SAP BTP Fiori Applications and/or Integration Suites (IS) Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) Identify and resolve functional issues during testing phases Prepare detailed level plans for the PPM functional area and work with the project team to develop and finalize the overall project plan Core Expertise: SAP Project Systems (PS), Portfolio & Project Management (PPM), Commercial Project Management (CPM), and Asset Accounting , with strong cross-module integration across Master Data, Procurement (services or equipment), and Asset Management. SAP Security Design & Governance : Experience in designing
role-based access controls (RBAC)
and
authorization concepts
aligned with
SOX compliance
and
industry regulations . Define and manage
user roles, profiles, and authorizations
across SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems. Collaborate with security and audit teams to ensure
segregation of duties (SoD)
and
risk mitigation
across SAP modules. Support
security testing ,
remediation , and
compliance reporting
during project lifecycles. Additional Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret operational and financial data, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions. Demonstrated ability to
troubleshoot complex issues , guide technical teams, and propose innovative, scalable solutions. Familiarity with
Azure DevOps (ADO)
or similar tools for agile program delivery and backlog management.
