A leading law firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Life Sciences Partnering & Licensing practice. This role is ideal for attorneys with 3–6 years of experience advising life sciences companies on strategic commercial transactions, including licensing and collaboration agreements. The position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to support clients across the biotech, medtech, and pharmaceutical sectors. Location

Duties

Structure, negotiate, and draft a variety of strategic commercial agreements, including: Licensing agreements Collaboration agreements Development and supply agreements Advise clients in the life sciences industry on complex legal and business issues Coordinate with internal teams across IP, corporate, and regulatory practices Support cross-border and multi-party transactions involving biotech and pharma companies Stay current with industry trends, regulatory developments, and deal terms Requirements

3–6 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department Strong background in life sciences transactions Experience handling licensing, strategic alliances, and other commercial contracts Familiarity with corporate or intellectual property matters related to life sciences Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client matters efficiently Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications

Active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar Eligibility to become admitted in the state of practice location, if not already licensed Skills
