Your new role As our new Consultant, Site Solutions, you will help deliver innovative, inspiring, and sustainable solutions that set new standards and make a genuine difference to our clients, the environment, and society.
Responsibilities
Consult on environmental characterization, investigation, remediation, data analysis, ecological assessment, and remedial strategy and implementation projects.
Perform independent site reconnaissance of industrial and commercial facilities, primarily in the Midwest.
Conduct evaluations of federal, state, and local environmental regulatory laws and regulations for waste, air quality, and water quality programs where current and historical chemical use, storage, disposal practices, and equipment maintenance are assessed.
Evaluate risks present and determine the probability for agency actions as part of delivering trusted advisory services to clients.
About You
B.S. and/or M.S. in Engineering, Geosciences, Biology, or Chemistry with a focus on environmental/civil/chemical engineering, or geology/environmental science.
2+ years of experience in site investigation, contaminated site remedial design and implementation, and environmental due diligence including Phase I ESAs and regulatory compliance assessments.
Experience with soil, water, sediment, soil vapor and/or air emissions sampling. Physical requirements may include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing/sitting/walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Exposure to weather, noise, and hazards may occur. Training and PPE may be required.
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training is a plus.
Willing to travel up to 25% on average and possess a valid driver’s license. Travel may include overnight stays and out-of-state projects (1–10 days).

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your total compensation package. This posting indicates a probable base salary between $81,515 - $101,894. Actual pay may vary based on experience, location, and other factors and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other compensation.
