Be responsive to the needs of customers and their sales teams, acting as their trusted advisor for the IP products and solutions. Identify and engage potential new Enterprise customers. Maintain a strong technical background, understand the sales process, be self-motivated, and operate independently with minimal supervision. Work closely with the sales teams (sales executives, sales managers, sales engineers) to identify opportunities and drive IP business to closure. Develop the technical strategy for each opportunity with the sales team and drive it to technical acceptance by the customer. Meet with influential customer decision makers and communicate Nokia’s IP product capabilities and proposed solutions. Develop technical collateral (white papers, PowerPoint presentations) to illustrate Nokia’s products and delivery capabilities as the best option for customer success; drive product development through customer and industry feedback; create offerings for IP portfolios, services, or end-to-end solutions. Qualifications
Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (or related technical degree and/or equivalent experience). Minimum 10+ years of experience as a customer-facing technical pre-sales engineer working with Enterprise companies, or equivalent experience designing and/or operating IP networks at Enterprise companies. Experience in a technical leadership role, developing and implementing programs involving multiple stakeholders. IPv4 and IPv6 Routing technologies including IGP (OSPF and IS-IS) and BGP. Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN technologies including MPLS, Segment Routing (with MPLS and IPv6 data plane), VXLAN, Pseudowires, VPLS, EVPN, and IP VPNs. Traffic Engineering including SR-TE and PCE/PCEP architectures. Modern Data Center networking design and operations including CLOS networks, Underlay and Overlay technologies, and networking integration to virtualization platforms – Kubernetes, OpenStack and VMware. YANG models, NETCONF, gNMI Telemetry and modern network automation frameworks. Ability to build credible business and technical arguments, including low-level technical discussions on hardware and software to support feature development requests. About Us
