Position Title: Staff Accountant / Accountant; Job Status: Exempt; Education Required: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience; Department: Finance; Location: 100% Remote. Summary Enliven is seeking a Staff Accountant (or Accountant) to join its Finance Team. The Staff Accountant will play an active role in supporting the Finance Team\'s day-to-day and month-end close activities, including processing invoices, expense reports and credit card activity, generating Purchase Orders, processing payroll, preparing weekly payment runs and preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, among other duties, while providing top-notch customer service and high-quality work product. This individual will report to the Accounting Manager. The position is 100% remote. Responsibilities

Process invoices in a timely manner, with accurate coding and approval routines Generate Purchase Orders Process New Vendor Request Forms, obtain W-9s from all new vendors, and maintain vendor files Follow-up with vendors to obtain invoices and resolve issues Ensure day-to-day AP tasks are completed to meet Accounting deadlines, which include weekly payment runs Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll runs, as needed, in a timely and accurate manner Review W-2s, 1099s and other year-end documents Answer employee questions about pay, deductions and another other payroll related issues Coordinate with HR for new hires, terminations and benefit changes Assist with month-end close activities, including assigned journal entries and account reconciliations, in accordance with the accounting close calendar Process employee expense reports, while ensuring appropriate approvals, clerical accuracy and compliance with the Expense Reimbursement Policy Monitor AP and Purchase Order status, including AP Aging, invoice approvals, open Purchase Orders, in-process Purchase Orders, etc. Reconcile company credit card statements within the online credit card portal Maintain compliance with SOX internal controls applicable to job functions Assist in the preparation of the prepared by client (PBC) schedules during the quarterly reviews and annual audit Provide auditors with documentation for SOX / audit testing selections as assigned Track and prepare Use Tax filings Assist / complete special projects and / or reports as requested by management Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience 4 years of general accounting experience 2 years of accounts payable experience Payroll experience a plus Life sciences / biotech experience a plus Detail oriented, organized, ability to problem-solve, positive attitude, excellent customer service and strong work ethic Excellent interpersonal skills Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Ability to work independently but seek out guidance and additional work Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.) NetSuite experience a plus Pacific or Mountain time zone preferred Salary : The expected salary range for this position is Staff Accountant - $85k - $105k; Accountant - $95k - $115k. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
