Litigation Counsel (Contract)

Page Executive . 4-6 month contract opportunity with a financial services institution. Hybrid role with 3 days in the office.
Location: Manhattan, NY
Responsibilities
Advise on litigation strategy for U.S. litigation, such as securities class actions and contract disputes, in collaboration with the in-house litigation team and senior management.
Assist with internal and regulatory inquiries and investigations, including coordinating data collection, document review, and document productions with the litigation team and outside counsel.
Coordinate internal document preservation and collection, including electronic discovery, with preservation and e-discovery teams and other members of the litigation team.
Manage responses to third-party subpoenas and other requests for information.
Support in-house employment counsel, human resources and employee relations on a broad spectrum of employment law matters in the U.S., including workplace investigations, leaves of absence and accommodations, separations, wage and hour, reductions in force, internal investigations, compensation and benefits, and contingent workforce issues.
The Successful Applicant
JD
3+ years of experience as a litigator in a financial services company’s law department and/or at a leading law firm handling financial services litigation (securities class actions, contract disputes), internal and regulator inquiries and employment litigation matters
Experience preparing legal memoranda and pleadings
Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
New York Bar
