The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects online HESI tutors with students nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home. Compensation and Logistics
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. We handle the logistics—you just invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments. Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to students, offering personalized instruction tailored to individual learning needs. Match with students best-suited to your teaching style and subject expertise. Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and focus on teaching. Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in HESI and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Ways To Connect With Students
