(QPWB) is a national defense firm seeking Michigan-licensed attorneys with Auto Negligence and General Liability defense experience to join our Farmington Hills, Michigan office. This role targets individuals with 3-5 years of experience in defending general liability claims, including auto negligence, and involves moving cases through the legal system while vigorously representing our clients’ interests. What You’ll Do / Responsibilities
Review and summarize medical records to effectively advocate for clients. Draft motions and attend hearings to represent clients in court. Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions as needed. Draft initial, interim, pre-trial, and appellate reports and participate in trial activity. Respond to discovery requests and draft discovery-related motions. Regularly attend court appearances to pursue favorable outcomes for clients. Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses. What You’ll Bring / Qualifications
Admitted to practice in Michigan. Analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues. Excellent research abilities combined with strong written and oral communications. Experience drafting and responding to discovery-related motions. Regular court appearance experience. Experience taking and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses. Experience drafting motions for summary judgments. Compensation & Benefits
