Overview
eDiscovery Technical Advisor (Top Secret Clearance Required) CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a dedicated eDiscovery Technical Advisor to join a fast-paced team to assist with legal accounts. You will support various aspects of the company’s portfolio and work with litigation teams to manage electronic discovery (ESI) activities in civil and criminal matters, FOIA requests, and Congressional inquiries. Responsibilities
Provide expertise in identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI in support of civil and criminal litigation, select FOIA requests, Congressional requests, and other inquiries Offer criminal discovery support including identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI Serve as the expert technical user of electronic discovery applications (Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, LHMT, Veritas eDiscovery Platform) Develop discovery plans with the litigation team, documenting search parameters (date range, keywords, custodians) for each case Use electronic discovery software to collect data from FBI storage locations on FBI IT systems (e.g., MS-Exchange servers, shared drives, desktops, text/IMs) in accordance with the discovery plan Analyze search/collection results to identify data gaps Administer data inputs into electronic discovery review platforms (eDP): create cases, add source data, manage user access, upload data logs, de-duplicate data, merge/verify data, and ensure production quality (Bates numbering and load file creation) Coordinate discovery results with FBI units responsible for processing for review/redaction/release Adhere to policies and procedures for electronic discovery software and provide training and technical assistance to agency attorneys, paralegals, and other users Advise on FBI processes for identifying, preserving, collecting, analyzing, and organizing ESI, including software usage Provide ad hoc support to end users of the eDiscovery repository Document electronic discovery plans and procedures for each case Facilitate requests for legal hold implementation, amendments, and lifts in LHMT Provide eDiscovery collections on criminal cases Qualifications
5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions 3 years of progressively more responsible experience on major litigation support projects 2 years in Relativity beyond document review coding Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical leaders Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment Experience with eDiscovery services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial) Must be a U.S. Citizen Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred) BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred) Compensation
