Their success is driven by a dedicated team of skilled engineers and experienced leadership committed to quality and innovation. Job Title: Plumbing Engineer / Designer Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Engineer or Designer to support our project teams in delivering high-quality plumbing systems for commercial and residential developments. This role involves participating in all phases of design, from initial field surveys to final documentation, while ensuring code compliance and collaboration across disciplines. Key Responsibilities
Conduct on-site surveys and develop clear, concise field reports including photographs and sketches. Perform plumbing load calculations and complete required energy compliance documentation. Select and specify appropriate plumbing products and materials aligned with project goals and applicable standards. Coordinate directly with local jurisdictions to ensure all designs adhere to current municipal and state plumbing codes. Develop plumbing system designs in accordance with project timelines and milestones. Collaborate closely with architects and engineers from multiple disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient system design. Organize and support construction documentation and assist project managers in addressing construction administration inquiries. Conduct detailed quality control reviews of construction documents in coordination with project managers. Review plumbing submittals for accuracy and completeness within project deadlines. Qualifications & Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Windows required; working knowledge of Revit is highly desirable. Familiarity with California building codes and city-specific requirements is preferred. Prior hands-on experience with field construction or plumbing systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary coordination. Benefits
