Project Manager - Civil/Environmental Engineering CityScape Engineering is seeking a

Project Manager

with 8+ years of experience in urban greening and stormwater management capital projects to lead the design and delivery of projects that improve Baltimore’s communities. This role requires advanced knowledge of site design, green infrastructure, permitting, and construction management. The Project Manager directs all aspects of project delivery — from marketing and design to permitting and construction — and ensures products are technically sound and align with the project scope, schedule, and budget. Primary Responsibilities

Market the company’s capabilities with clients, site owners, architects, developers, landscape architects, and urban planners to coordinate project scope and fee proposals, build new relationships, and contribute to business development

Lead the design and delivery of urban greening, stormwater, and environmental restoration projects

Oversee workload planning for project design, permitting, construction, and closeout while adhering to strict quality control and quality assurance standards

Prepare and/or review site plans, grading plans, stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, and utility plans using AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and other relevant software

Manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes, ensuring efficient and timely delivery

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulators, contractors, and community partners for project communications

Supervise and mentor staff engineers, CAD designers, and interns to encourage continuous learning; this includes routine skill assessments as well as formal performance reviews for technical staff

Conduct community engagement meetings to present project information and gather public input to ensure projects reflect community needs and goals

Coordinate with regulatory agencies to secure necessary approvals and permits

Lead construction administration, conduct field inspections, and oversee documentation of as-built conditions

Support the development of internal technical standards and best practices

Required Experience and Skills

Education: BS in Civil Engineering or related field

Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE)

8+ years of civil engineering experience, including demonstrated project management responsibilities

Technical Expertise: Urban site design, stormwater management, and green infrastructure. Environmental restoration techniques and permitting requirements (Baltimore City, Maryland, MDE)

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Skills and Experience

Strong sense of accountability with an ownership mentality toward project & company success

Strong project scheduling, budgeting, and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication, including client-facing presentations

Ability to mentor staff and lead multidisciplinary project teams
