About This Role

We are looking for a Corporate Finance Senior Lead to shape Faire’s consolidated financial model, guide investment decisions, ensure operational excellence, and partner with senior leaders to drive efficient, long-term growth. The Corporate Finance team’s mission is to translate strategy into clear financial plans and performance insights that inform decision-making at the highest levels of the company. This team works closely with the CFO and cross-functional leadership to improve capital allocation, enforce investment discipline, and elevate the financial narrative.

What You’ll Do

Lead consolidated financial planning across cross-functional teams, ensuring business priorities are tied to financial outcomes

Deliver actionable insights that guide resource allocation and investment decisions

Drive high-quality financial narratives for executive and board audiences, distilling complexity into clear, concise, and strategic takeaways

Improve and automate planning infrastructure by building scalable systems, processes, and reporting frameworks

Analyze and explain variances against plan, helping teams course-correct as needed

Manage key company-wide deliverables, including forecasting cycles, budget updates, and monthly reporting packages

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant experience in equity research, private equity, or venture capital, including at least 3 years of direct Corporate Finance experience

Deep financial and business acumen, with an understanding of technology or marketplace models

Strong analytical skills; able to break down complex problems and guide decision-making with data and logic

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver financial insights with clarity, credibility, and influence

Effective project management skills; experienced in driving cross-functional processes with structure and urgency

Sharp attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to go deep when needed

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Salary Range

California & New York City: the pay range for this role is $191,500 - $263,500 per year. This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Work Arrangement

Effective January 2025, Faire employees will be expected to go into the office 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific Workplace and Information Technology positions may require onsite attendance 5 days per week as will be indicated in the job posting.
