Senior Director, Liver Strategy (US Medical Affairs) – US Medical Affairs leadership role focused on hepatology within the US liver portfolio and pipeline at Gilead Sciences, Inc. Salary: $281,010.00/yr – $363,660.00/yr Base pay range is provided in the job description. This position may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and other compensation per company policy. Responsibilities

Acts as a scientific medical lead to foster alignment and collaboration between US and Global Medical Affairs team and other functions within the Development organization Provide strategic medical leadership in USMA planning and lifecycle management across Gilead’s liver portfolio and ensure alignment to US local strategic cross-functional plans Communicate medical initiatives, strategies, data timelines, and publication plans to crossfunctional stakeholders Provide bi-directional insights and updates to and from cross-functional meetings to inform USMA liver medical strategy Collaborate with Commercial, Legal, Regulatory, Clinical, Public/Government Affairs, and other partner functions to lead or support cross-functional projects Exhibit Gilead’s core values: integrity, teamwork, accountability, excellence, and inclusion in accordance with the highest ethical and compliance standards, including Gilead’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct policies, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements Qualifications

MD, DO, DNP, DPA, PharmD, or other advanced health care degree with 10+ years of clinical and/or industry experience Relevant clinical experience in Hepatology is required Excellent verbal, written, visual communication, and interpersonal skills are required Ability to utilize moderately complex scientific resources across a variety of different settings Ability to work collaboratively and experience working on cross-functional teams Ability to travel up to 30 percent as required which may include occasional weekend travel The salary range for this position is: $281,010.00 - $363,660.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
