Overview
Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Client Portfolio Managers (CPM) play a vital role in the management and growth of clients in the firm’s CLOs and CLO Funds. They are embedded in and serve as an integrated member of Nuveen’s Structured Credit team that has a cycle-tested track record of managing CLOs and investing in CLO securities. Responsibilities include liaising with clients (written and verbal), communicating market views, and creating and managing marketing collateral. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of CLOs and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The candidate should also have experience developing and enhancing marketing content that includes, but is not limited to, presentations, whitepapers, and RFP/DDQ responses. Nuveen GFI is seeking a senior CLO CPM to support the ongoing growth of our CLO business. Key Responsibilities and Duties
CLO CPMs shoulder a multi-faceted set of responsibilities. Their key duties include: Client Engagement: Maintaining relationships with internal institutional and wealth sales channels, responding to product information requests, providing technical sales support, and acting as a primary point of contact for clients.
Marketing Collateral: Providing input on and content for marketing materials, white papers, RFPs and client communications for new business and existing clients.
Speaker Events: Working with CLO Investor Relations team to identify conferences, roundtables and speaking events and represent the Nuveen CLO platform at such events.
Liaising with internal partners: Partnering with technology, compliance, legal, operations, portfolio management, trading, and other internal partners to evaluate and enhance client collateral and educate internal sales teams on the asset class.
Ensuring compliance with regulations: Collaborating with Compliance to streamline existing review processes and identify/resolve potential indenture breaches.
Educational Requirements
University (Degree) Preferred Work Experience
5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred FINRA Registrations
SRC Indicator: Series 7; Series 63 Physical Requirements

8IC QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the asset management industry Preferred: Minimum of 7 years experience in the CLO and/or structured credit industry Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university; CFA, MBA (or progress toward) a plus Strong understanding of BSL CLOs Entrepreneurial mindset and strong client service and sales orientation Excellent written communication skills, keen attention to detail and organizational prowess Experience analyzing and synthesizing attribution in written and verbal format Effective ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and timelines A genuine team player that believes in the power of collaborative work and builds relationships with co-workers in a collegial and respectful manner The ability to think strategically and creatively and connect broad ideas with detailed execution Willingness and ability to travel Related Skills

$141,000/yr - $197,000/yr Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
