We are looking for a Lead Technical Product Manager to focus on Commerce’s developer-facing products and other technical initiatives. As a part of this role, you will work closely with several engineering teams, our API strategy group, and the rest of the Product & Engineering organization. Depending on the candidate, the teams and projects you work with will be focused on either frontend or backend developer products. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as Marketing, PR, Strategic Business Development, and other teams to ensure a cohesive strategy for delivering excellent developer experiences wherever Commerce’s developer platform is used. Our platform is used by tens of thousands of developers globally to process billions of dollars of merchant revenue each year. What You’ll Do Become an expert on our customers in the Commerce developer community and advocate for their problems and needs. Gather inputs from cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Finance, etc.). Define and communicate business outcomes and performance metrics to key stakeholders throughout the organization. Lead teams of developers, designers, and quality engineers toward your vision with effective delivery. Work with teams to break complex projects into smaller iterations that add customer value. Prepare comprehensive Epics & Stories for development teams. Explain story details to development teams before and during development (planning, grooming meetings, etc.). Work with the Product Design team to design & prototype new features as appropriate. Validate new functionality with customers before development. Demo new functionality to stakeholders, the organization, and customers. Analyze the entire product and propose improvements; use data to measure impact and iterate to optimize performance. Who You Are Typically 5 to 8+ years of hands-on technical product management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in technical product management. Expertise in the needs of frontend or backend software developers in ecommerce or a similar context. Strong technical background with an understanding of software development processes and methodologies. Proficient in technical competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and trade-off analysis. Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs in an integration context. Experience working in SCRUM Agile methodologies. Passionate about building next-generation products for the fast-growing ecommerce industry. Experience with platform artifacts, services, APIs, and frameworks. Customer-focused with the ability to understand pain points and how users interact with the product. Data-driven decision maker. Ability to develop a long-term plan and break it into smaller chunks that add customer value. Strong awareness of market research and competitive landscape. Pay Transparency

Range: $123,000-$207,000. The exact salary will depend on location, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
