Network Architect
to join a critical cybersecurity program located in
Honolulu, HI
through 100% on-site presence. The
Network Architect
will lead the design & optimization of secure, scalable DOD enterprise networks across classified & unclassified environments. Responsibilities
Lead network architecture design, serving as the principal architect for classified & unclassified HQ PACAF networks, shaping future-state infrastructure & ensuring secure, scalable solutions Advise senior leadership by providing strategic guidance to PACAF A6 leadership on technology selection, network optimization, & capability enhancements aligned with mission objectives Integrate DOD & Army cybersecurity policies into IT projects, manage RMF processes, & oversee compliance across multiple networks within the USARPAC AOR Conduct cost-benefit analyses, engineering plans, & risk assessments for large-scale upgrades, system transitions, & disaster recovery strategies Lead cross-functional collaboration & long-term engineering planning to support operational readiness & coalition connectivity Provide hands-on support for secure/non-secure networks, assess site conditions for upgrades, & ensure design compliance for cross-domain & tactical systems Qualifications
10+ years of senior-level network architecture or engineering experience supporting DOD or joint commands 5+ years of experience managing cybersecurity at the program level 5+ years of experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering, systems architecture, or a related discipline I AM Level III Certification: GSLC, CISM, CISSP, CISSA, CISM, SecX, CAP, CCNP, CCDP, CSP Deep knowledge of DOD architecture framework, firewall policy, routing protocols, QoS, cloud strategies, & cross-domain solutions Proven ability to work with senior leaders, deliver technical presentations, & build consensus in high-stakes environments Active DOD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Compensation
