Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving all office-related growth objectives for three tax offices. Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season; from January to April, transition to full-time, including evening and weekend hours as needed. In-person role; not remote. What you\'ll bring to the team
Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, develop local partnerships, and manage office community involvement. Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions. Conduct timely performance reviews and partner with the Associate Relations Center to address performance concerns. Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management. Travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. Your Expertise
People management experience with demonstrated ability to grow and develop associates. Aptitude for growth plan execution and leading toward a growth culture. Strong decision-making and judgment skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset to understand and exceed client needs. Computer proficiency with MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Why work for us
