Responsible for establishing and fostering relationships with key constituents of the ETF secondary market ecosystem (e.g., market makers, authorized participants and listing venues). Solicit firms to make markets in FlexShares ETFs. Monitor the market-making activities of strategic partners to ensure breadth and depth of liquidity in quoted markets for FlexShares ETFs. Work collaboratively with ETF Product Management to secure seed capital for new products. Work collaboratively with ETF Product Management to manage relationships with authorized participants. Work collaboratively with Product Management to foster and manage relationships with listing venues. Develop trade analytics for proprietary and competitive ETF products to support Sales and servicing professionals in positioning FlexShares ETFs with investing prospects and clients from a capital markets perspective. Support Product Strategy with assessment/refinement of existing products and development of new investment strategies. Assist Product Management in identifying product attributes that affect investors and capital markets participants. Contribute to the broad ETF group by developing educational forums and collateral for internal use. Contribute to Marketing and business development by providing thought leadership in empirical research and topical communications. General Management Responsibilities

Develop best practices for serving internal and external constituents in capital markets and delivering thought leadership in trading and execution. Develop and implement ETF capital-markets process enhancements (administrative, operational, technological, etc.). Provide effective written and oral communications across all levels of the organization and across business units. Develop and implement effective risk-management practices. Team management. Supports executive management with key business unit and corporate initiatives. Knowledge

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently with sound business judgment. Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience communicating with international employees, colleagues, clients, and executives. Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge strong relationships with other senior personnel in the ETF Group and broader Northern Trust organization. Experience

Bachelor\'s degree; Master in Business Administration and/or CFA strongly preferred. At least ten years of post-graduate business experience (especially investment and/or capital markets), preferably with ETF capital markets leadership and management experience. Strong proficiency in empirical research and analysis; understanding of trading systems and applications is a plus. Investor-centric focus and entrepreneurial experience is highly valued. Salary

Salary Range: $191,900 - $335,700 USD Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
