We\'re searching for an experienced, innovative VP of Technology (Engineering) leader — as a Head Architect — who has deep SaaS experience delivering new products and experiences to the market that will be loved by millions of users. In this role, the leader will lead the Consumer Platform that enables Intuit to power the prosperity of consumers by serving their needs at various points in their financial journey, from tax to credit to saving on expenses to access to money and growing wealth. Consumer Platform, oriented around the pillars of Tax, Personal Finance, and Money, will focus on helping consumers lift the burden of tax prep with AI and assisted tax prep and lay the foundation to create a year-round relationship centered on money benefits, financial products, and financial guidance. Consumer Platform is powered by world-class Tax (TurboTax and ProTax) and Credit Karma capabilities. This leader will propel a high-performing team to its next phase of growth. This individual will rely on their business acumen, strategic thinking, hands-on technical/coding experience, AI proficiency and experience, and data skills to drive customer and business outcomes at scale. They will be comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, balancing precision with speed. Lead architecture for the Consumer Platform as the Head Architect - Vice President, Technology; own end-to-end problem solving for developers and customers; report to the SVP of Engineering. Translate business strategy into a durable technology strategy with a deeper focus on Tax Platform capabilities; partner closely with business leadership, Tax and Credit Karma PD teams, functional teams and the broader Intuit TechEcosystem. Technology Strategy and Architecture for Consumer Platform
Define and drive the technology strategy for Consumer Platform by partnering with Business Leadership and the broader Intuit TechEcosystem to accelerate growth. Ensure technical governance of technologies being developed and deliver end-to-end solutions. Evaluate designs for technical feasibility, business alignment, and non-functional requirements. Integrate technologies to ensure a cohesive platform, emphasizing AI-native solutions to maximize customer benefit.
Boundaryless Collaboration
Operate in a complex org structure, collaborating with multiple stakeholders globally. Prioritize roadmaps and requirements with cross-functional teams (PM, PD, XD, Care, etc.) and senior leaders across geographies.
Operational & Engineering Excellence
Establish and improve engineering and operational excellence to create a productive environment for developers and high availability for customers. Set clear objectives, enable data-driven progress reviews, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
Build a High-Performance Culture
Grow and coach engineering talent, attract and retain senior engineers and leaders, and drive strategy to hire and mobilize talent across the organization.

Qualifications
15+ years of product and platform development experience with BS/MS in computer science or equivalent 3+ years in a leadership role, managing and coaching globally distributed teams and influencing third-party technology strategy Demonstrated track record delivering SaaS at scale Full-stack expertise across architecture, services, applications, data, analytics, AI and marketing technologies Experience delivering customer outcomes with AI and data-powered experiences Proven ability to develop high-performing organizations and collaborate across multiple teams Ability to operate with high-level objectives and deliver with velocity Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and ability to identify patterns across a complex ecosystem Understanding of systems engineering and high-availability design Experience across the full software development lifecycle Strong collaboration, influence, and partnership skills across data, product, marketing, and sales Ability to research and apply new technologies and business processes independently Passion for facilitative leadership and cross-boundary teamwork Excellent communication skills with ability to engage all levels of the organization Compensation and Benefits
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area, California: $384,500 – $520,500. This position is eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits as per applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit conducts regular pay equity reviews across ethnicity and gender categories.
