Overview
The JP-XCM Team is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional to manage the creation and execution of marketing campaigns in Japan. This is a 12 month contract. This individual will bridge the gap between strategic planning, media execution, and creative development, ensuring the smooth delivery of impactful advertising initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise alongside a deep understanding of campaign development, working closely with the strategic lead, media lead, and creative lead to deliver on campaign objectives. Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive campaign strategies and briefs based on the overall communication strategy provided by the strategic lead. Translate high-level strategic objectives into actionable campaign goals, ensuring alignment with brand and business priorities. Craft detailed and compelling briefs for creative and media teams to guide campaign development and execution. Identify and address potential challenges early to maintain campaign momentum and mitigate risks. Proactively plan for new market opportunities and adapt campaigns to respond to unforeseen challenges. Collaborate closely with strategic, media, and creative leads to ensure campaign deliverables meet strategic and creative objectives. Act as the central point of coordination for campaign processes, maintaining alignment across internal teams and external partners. Partner with media and creative teams to manage the execution of campaigns across mass media channels, including TV, OOH, and digital. Oversee campaign timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution. Manage internal and external stakeholders, including agencies and creative partners, ensuring everyone are aligned on goals and timelines. Monitor budgets, negotiate costs, and manage approvals for creative and media plans. Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision and consistency across all campaign deliverables. Collaborate with research and measurement teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend optimizations for future initiatives. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve campaign processes and outcomes. Drive the localization and adaptation of global campaigns for the Japanese market, ensuring cultural relevance and resonance. Support the development of innovative, results-oriented campaigns that span traditional and digital advertising channels. Influence cross-functional teams to align on campaign objectives and execution plans. Foster a collaborative spirit across internal teams and external partners, promoting teamwork and shared success. Demonstrate a hands-on approach and willingness to contribute to all stages of campaign development as needed. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages Speak, write, and read fluently in English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
