Junior Developer Run/Train Footwear

PUMA Group . YOUR MISSION:
Join our dynamic Product Development Team within the Run/Train Footwear division as a Junior Product Developer. In this role, youll report directly to the Teamhead of Development and collaborate daily with Design, Product Management, Prototype Testing, and Far East Sourcing teams to bring innovative footwear to life. As a Junior Product Developer, youll support the Inline Product Development Managers in driving the creation and execution of performance running, training, and casual footwear. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, excellent time management, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
Support Development Managers in maintaining Pumas product management system and tracking development milestones Oversee the product development lifecycle from initial concept through to mass production Manage Color Update & Material Update global projects; assist with New Upper & Totally New designs Coordinate Puma materials show twice per year with other Boston-based categories Stay current with industry products & trends and conduct market research each season Research new materials to ensure trend relevance and innovation Assist with departmental logistics including shipping, storage, and prototype organization Collaborate closely with the Fit and Wear Test team to ensure optimal product quality, fit, and performance Build and maintain daily communication with our Asia-based teams; review quality standards, manufacturing processes, and lab test results Your Talent
Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field preferred (e.g., manufacturing, mechanical or chemical engineering, biomechanics) 1+ years of experience in the footwear industry; background in running or training footwear is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus Familiarity with Far East footwear manufacturing and sourcing processes Knowledge of athletic footwear materials and construction techniques Track & Field experience or knowledge is desirable Domestic & International travel as needed Company & Equal Opportunity
