Under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Photolithography Manufacturing Engineering, the Sr. Photolithography Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and supporting day-to-day photolithography processes and programs on the manufacturing line. This includes developing and delivering strategies to improve materials characterization and process margins, implementing practices to reduce cost and improve operational efficiency, analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting findings; conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions; developing procedures for transitioning new products to the manufacturing line; and reviewing, updating, and maintaining documentation and MPI’s. Responsibilities

Monitor, sustain, and support day-to-day photolithography manufacturing processes, programs, and activities to improve wafer quality and performance Provide technical support to operators, technicians, and other engineers to ensure process reliability and consistency Design and conduct advanced experiments to verify process efficiency and robustness; analyze results and report findings Develop and implement practices or methodologies to lower cost, increase yield, and improve operational efficiency Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as required Recommend improvements to photolithography processes to improve production yields via process/tool manufacturability optimization Respond to inquiries from other team members, managers, or departments Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other software to analyze large data sets; develop charts/reports and present findings to groups Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Perform other duties of a similar nature or level Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics and/or equivalent relevant experience; PhD preferred Three years of hands-on experience in magnetic thin film fabrication or semiconductor manufacturing in a manufacturing or process engineering role Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Hands-on experience with SPC and Design of Experiments (DOE) Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong knowledge of photolithography principles, practices, and techniques Experience with steppers/scanners in a thin film manufacturing environment Knowledge of magnetic recording head or HDD manufacturing Experience using JMP or Excel and the ability to create macro formulas Ability to design advanced experiments, analyze results, and recommend corrective action Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of contractors, consultants, employees, and management Ability to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management Commitment to safety policies and procedures Ability to apply critical thinking to resolve issues, examine trends, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process improvements Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and time management skills Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Flexible and able to prioritize Working Conditions

The Sr. Photolithography Manufacturing Engineer works primarily in an office environment with occasional site travel. The role may require work in a class 100 ESD-sensitive wafer manufacturing facility and the use of cleanroom attire. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, fumes, and/or gases, loud noise, and requires standing, walking, bending, and twisting. May require lifting up to 30 pounds. Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary for this full-time position is between $127,967.00-$188,187.00 plus bonus target and benefits. The final pay may differ based on job responsibilities, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience. The pay range is subject to change. Equal Employment Opportunity
