Overview
LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Compliance Consultant to lead the development and execution of a compliance program at a national agency. The Senior Compliance Consultant will help manage the day-to-day activities of the LMI team tasked with building a modernized, risk-informed governance, risk, and compliance framework. They will be responsible for supporting the multiple phases of the project ensuring policies, controls, monitoring activities, issue management, and investigations align to best practices. This position will report directly to the Program Manager. The Senior Compliance Consultant will coordinate governance, risk, and compliance framework development and communicating recommendations to USPS stakeholders. A successful Senior Compliance Consultant will be able to act as the right hand of the PM in facilitation team activities, shepherding forward excellent products, and delivering high-quality outputs to the client. They will have professional and conceptual agility to design and execute compliance risk mitigation and information solutions that are adaptive to client risks and requirements.

Responsibilities
Support the PM with leadership, task management, coordination, scheduling, and administrative duties
Design, assess, and implement next-gen risk and compliance capabilities and strategy
Develop key compliance deliverables including the current-state assessment report, modernization roadmap and implementation plan, and prioritized backlog
Create monitoring, reporting, and investigation protocols aligned with federal law enforcement standards
Lead or contribute to the implementation of GRC tools, risk technology platforms, or control modernization initiatives
Design governance structures, decision rights, and oversight mechanisms
Support creation of risk management framework
Construct reporting and investigation protocol
Ensure program activities align with current industry standards, regulatory trends, and federal compliance requirements
Review all compliance-related deliverables for accuracy and completeness
Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and technical SMEs
Support pilot testing and validation of compliance enhancements
Establish KPIs, KRIs, and metrics for compliance program effectiveness
Support the development of executive leadership briefings
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related discipline
10+ years compliance program management in federal law enforcement or similar regulatory environment
Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance (includes fingerprinting, background check, and drug screening)
Advanced knowledge of DOJ compliance standards, federal investigation protocols, and law enforcement governance
Experience with compliance program modernization and technology integration
Strong understanding of compliance and risk management frameworks and internal controls
Experience with regulatory, internal or external audits
Familiarity or direct experience with GRC/Cybersecurity solutions, tools, and technologies
Strong facilitation, analytic, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively and iterate products with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work with a team of professionals in a remote environment on expedited timelines
Ability to be comfortable working in ambiguous situations and with unclear direction
Desired Skills:
Master's degree or higher in a related discipline
15+ years supporting operations for a government or commercial entity
Agile, Scrum, and/or Lean Six Sigma certification(s)
Expert knowledge of federal law enforcement regulations and administrative procedures
Experience with GAO/OIG remediation planning and reporting
Prosci/ADKAR
Target Salary Range- $90,270-$155,037
