Save Job

OpenText is a global leader in information management, with a culture focused on innovation, creativity, and collaboration. We’re hiring talent that AI can augment—not replace—to help shape the future of information management.

Overview You’ll own global go-to-market for the Data Security Portfolio (formerly Voltage) inside an AI-first marketing organization that cares about outcomes. Your role is to craft positioning that demonstrates how our discovery-to-encryption platform closes DSPM gaps, thwarts quantum-era threats, and saves the day. You’ll report to the Sr. Director of Cybersecurity Product Marketing and partner with product, sales, and multiple marketing disciplines to turn ideas into revenue fast.

Responsibilities

Messaging & Positioning — Build punchy, differentiated narratives for data discovery, tokenization, DSPM, and PETs. Provide value clarity with the technical detail to back it up.

Competitive Intelligence — Track and differentiate against data security players to strengthen our market position.

Launch Excellence — Orchestrate releases, hero use cases (DSPM, cloud-agnostic encryption), and customer proof points, keeping teams focused on delivering outcomes.

Sales & Partner Enablement — Create battlecards, calculators, talk tracks, and training to improve win rates.

Demand-Gen Alignment — Translate persona-based pain points and compelling events into campaigns that align with buyer budgets.

Market Insight — Mine analyst, customer, and market data to inform product direction and stay ahead of competitive threats.

What You Need To Succeed

8+ years in enterprise software with 5+ years in cybersecurity or data security product marketing.

Hands-on experience launching or messaging DSPM, discovery/classification, encryption/tokenization, DLP, or database activity monitoring.

Experience with data security vendors and competitive landscape (e.g., Varonis, BigID, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Microsoft Security, Cyera, Thales CipherTrust, IBM Guardium, Imperva, Protegrity).

AI marketing chops: hands-on use of GenAI or ML-based AI (not just reading about it). Willing to learn and grow.

Ability to translate technical language into business value for CISOs, CIOs, CDOs, and Data Security Engineers.

Proven track record enabling sales teams to achieve quotas.

Strong storytelling on stage, in front of cameras, or during analyst calls; own a relatable, confident style.

Data-driven, self-directed, and proactive with a can-do mindset.
